Our first collaboration with cinema technology leader Barco set the tone for a lasting partnership. Tasked with unveiling the emotional and visual power of Barco’s new HDR projection system, we set out to create a cinematic trailer that didn’t just explain the technology—it made you feel it.

The concept? Capture the brilliance of HDR in-camera, for real. We rigged 38 paint cans with explosives, choreographed the chaos with motion control robotics, and filmed the spectacle using high-speed Phantom cameras. The result was a vibrant explosion of color and contrast—shot entirely practically—that became the flagship visual identity for Barco’s next-generation HDR product.
